What changed
- The pretty parameter is ignored, and responses use compact formatting.
- The debug parameter is ignored and no debug envelope is added, though the token debugging endpoint is unaffected.
- A request that includes a date format parameter returns an error.
- A root request that passes a list of ids returns an error, so per-object requests or supported batching are needed instead.
- Legacy ETag response headers and the 304 Not Modified behaviour are removed, so requests return full responses.
- These apply to version 26.0 from 29 July 2026 and to all remaining supported versions from 27 October 2026.
Who is affected
- Anyone running custom Graph API scripts or integrations that rely on these legacy parameters or on ETag caching.
What to check this week
- Check custom Graph API scripts for the affected parameters and for ETag caching, before the October date. Recommended in the platform documentation: read the official page
